Printmakers Society of the Lehigh Valley Member Exhibition at the Nazareth Center for the Arts

September 4 - September 27, 2026

We are partnering with the delightful Nazareth Center for the Arts for our next member's exhibition. The Nazareth Center for the Arts holds a variety of arts related events and activities including live music, exhibitions, and classes (see nazaretharts.org). Gallery hours are Fridays 5-7pm, Saturdays 12-5pm, and Sundays 12-5pm. Gallery hours are staffed by volunteers. We encourage you to volunteer for gallery sitting especially if you exhibit (see below). We will hold a closing reception on the last day of the exhibit and that is also pick-up day (no opening reception due to Labor Day weekend).

This is a PSLV members exhibit, so you must be a current member to exhibit.

Exhibit Details

• Nazareth Center for the Arts takes a 30% commission for all artwork sold. One or two racks for matted cellophane wrapped prints for sale are available – please provide QR codes for Venmo or whatever on these. (We are discouraging NFS for this exhibit in general, but you could provide matted prints of a framed NFS piece you would really like hung.)
• Artworks submitted must represent a traditional hand-made printmaking process, an experimental extension of one of those processes, or a new technology handled within the scope and voice of traditional printmaking.  Reproduction prints and straight digital photographic prints will not be considered appropriate for this exhibition.
• All work must be original and the artist's own from concept to completion.
• All artworks to be hung must be framed and wired for hanging (this is a PSLV requirement).  We will not have pedestals available.
• All reasonable care will be taken of all work. Nazareth Center for the Arts is covered by Erie Insurance in the event that unforeseen damage occurs. We would prefer work to be for sale. A 30% commission will be taken by the Nazareth Center for the Arts on all sales. Your entry into this exhibit constitutes agreement with these terms and conditions.
• Note! Nazareth Center for the Arts does not have limitations on content, and our usual restrictions as to nudity/political content do not apply here. You are welcome to submit works with any content; however, note that we will jury out works which we consider extremely offensive or dangerous (eg, death threats).
• Artists may submit up to 3 prints to be hung as space permits.  In the situation that there is not enough space to show all works, best efforts will be made to give all participating artists equal exposure in the show.  PSLV reserves the right to jury works out as necessary, for space or any other reason.
• All artwork must be submitted ahead on the online submission form below.  Your artwork identification tags generated from this form will be sent to you to attach to the backs of your artworks. It’s important to use this submission form, as it also is our database for the show.
• There is a $10 entry fee per exhibiting artist for this exhibit, payable at dropoff.
• There will be a sign-up genius link distributed for volunteering for gallery sitting. We strongly encourage you to sit if you are exhibiting (afternoon slots can be 2 ½ or 5 hours). If you’ve never gallery sat, it can be a fun way to have some public interactions and maybe even do art in public.

Online Art Submission Date:

August 20, 2026.  Please submit all works through the form below. This will be used to make gallery tags to be attached to the artwork at drop off, and as the database for exhibit labels and works list.

Drop Off Date:

Thursday, September 3, noon-2 pm at the Nazareth Center for the Arts. There is onstreet metered parking (25 cents/hour Monday-Sat. until 6pm; Sundays are free).

Closing Reception and End of Show Pick-up:



Sunday, September 27, 3-5pm. Please let us know what you can bring for refreshments for the reception.
